Hooray! I'm in the Beano! Again!

A lovely new story starring me, Lenny (poorly acted as usual), Cecil (uninvited I must add) plus a small selection of wannabes desperate to get their faces in the Beano (shame on you!) is in this week's issue!! Is it me, or does a new adventure of Derek the Sheep appearing in the Beano put a spring in your step?

Certainly made me more springy! I liked it that much I had to show it to my mates and they couldn't stop laughing, they loved it! Nice one!

Ovine angst and creative disguise work - excellent stuff!

  7. I thought the colouring was very cool this week.
How do sheep keep cool in all this hot weather? I'm sweatin' cobs under my feathers!

My condolences go out to anyone who's able to sweat flippin' swans.

  9. Canada geese are much worse. And noisier.

  10. Thanks for your kind comments Jon! I think the Beano needs a bit of ovine angst every now and then.

As for keeping cool, we just eat lots of ice creams and lounge about in the shade. Although most of us prefer to sunbathe and work on that tan. No cobs involved that I'm aware of.
